In 2006 Austin Audio Visual designed an upgrade to the audio system of Stones River Baptist Church in
Smyrna, TN. Additionally we designed and installed a new video projection system and a theatrical lighting system.
The existing system used a Bose Panaray system for the main speakers. The new system was designed to utililize the
Bose system along with some
of the existing componets in the sound booth.
A new Soundcraft GB4- 40 forty channel console replaced the existing Mackie. New Crown amplifiers wre installed
along withaddition in ceiling Bose speaker to add
auxillary audio to balcony and under balcony areas. A new Audix wireless microphone system was instaled .
A new Tascam CD recording system along with a Tascam CD duplication system was installed to recored the
services and then to distribute recordings to their members.

The video system was based on an Infocus 4500 lumen projector fitted with a Navitar long throw lens to allow
the projector to be located in the sound booth for easy acces and maintenance.
The system projectors onto a 120 inch diagonal electric screen.

Lighting System:
The system objective was for lighting the stage for filming and for theatrical lighting of church events.
The system was comprised of a connector strip, fixed instruments, dimmer system and control system.
Connector strip:
A Lighting & Electronics connector strip installed from the third beam out from the stage.
Eight white 1000 watt NSI par 64 instruments and four whiteL&E Ellipsoidal
A NSI: MC 7016 / 16/32 Channel console/2 manual presets/ 16 memory scenes was linked to the dimmer located back stage.
A NSI:DS8-24KO rack mount dimmer with 8 Channels of 2400 watts rack mount dimmer /w soft patch /LED display was installed in the back stage area.
